Canada has a long-standing commitment to welcoming refugees and displaced people. Every year, thousands arrive through economic, family, humanitarian, and refugee programs. However, public attitudes toward immigration are shifting, and there is a greater need than ever to highlight the contributions of newcomers rather than focusing on dependency. Innovative pathways—like the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP)—allow skilled individuals to immigrate to Canada through economic streams. While we use EMPP where applicable, our focus spans multiple programs to ensure long-term sustainability.
Maple Bridge Canada exists to respond to this crisis with compassion, professionalism, and cultural insight. We are here to ensure Afghan newcomers—and other displaced individuals—have access to safe, sustainable, and empowering futures in Canada.
